Migration Commit Witness is a verification aid, not a database backup, migration engine, warranty, or substitute for engineering review.
Open-source CLI
The CLI source is provided under the MIT License. You are responsible for its configuration, database permissions, invariant quality, artifact retention, and review before deployment.
Safety boundary
Use only ephemeral, development, test, or CI databases and credentials. Never point the CLI or a rollback command at production. A passing witness proves only the configured observations for that run and dialect.
Team rollout kit
The kit costs $49 as a one-time purchase and unlocks reusable policy templates and team process materials for this major version. Core safety behavior, evidence export, and accessibility remain free. The license is for the purchasing team’s internal use and may be restored on that team’s devices.
Payments and refunds
Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record. Checkout, tax, receipts, and eligible refunds are handled there. A refunded, expired, or revoked purchase no longer unlocks the kit. No subscription is created.
No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the software and materials are provided “as is,” without warranties. Liability is limited as stated in the MIT License for the CLI.
